El momento de la verdad
Damián Tabarovsky

NOVEL | 2022 | 79 pages

From a corner, the narrator watches, he watches and gazes. He focuses, but does he find the target? The target shifts, or, better yet, it always returns, and through that movement, the narration launches, like one language battling against others: the language of media, the language of binary—which divides the world into winners and losers— the languages that push some lives to the leftovers, the remains, the extras.

El momento de la verdad is a novel of mental ups and downs, it’s the story of a mode—a story of the conditional. Things could have been different, and the success of the narration lies in rebuilding those lost paths, in working as a rebuttal against common platitudes, in being suspicious of everything that is, including its own narration. Nothing is spared from this work of demolition.
