Virginia Higa

Virginia Higa was born in Bahía Blanca in 1983. She studied and is a professor of Literature at the University of Buenos Aires. Her first novel, Los sorrentinos (Sigilo, 2018) has been translated into Italian, Swedish, French, and Portuguese. She has lived in Stockholm since 2017, where she teaches Spanish and works as a translator for several publishing houses. Among others, she has translated Ann Beattie, David Abram, Mary Shelley, Julia Armfield, and Virginia Woolf.
